Niantic and Capcom just had a livestream for their upcoming and previously announced real world hunting action RPG Monster Hunter Now () for iOS and Android. This stream had the release date revealed, weapons showcased, monsters revealed, and more. Monster Hunter Now continues to look like a good blend of a proper Monster Hunter game with aspects of Pokemon GO. It is a free to play release and will use Niantic’s AR technology. Today, alongside the Monster Hunter Now release date of September 14th, pre-orders and pre-registrations have gone live on the App Store and Google Play for its worldwide release. Watch the new Monster Hunter Now trailer below:

Monster Hunter Now launches on September 14th worldwide for iOS and Android. If you’d like to play it at launch, you can pre-order Monster Hunter Now on the App Store for iOS here and pre-register for it on Google Play for Android here. It is free to play with in app purchases of different sets of gems. Given the multiple hundred hours I put into Monster Hunter games each year and with Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne being two of my favorite games of all time, I’m definitely going to try out Monster Hunter Now when it launches on iOS. Hopefully Capcom does collaborations with other brands it owns and other games in the series. Check out the official website here. What do you think of Monster Hunter Now and will you be playing it in September on iOS and Android?
