Another mobile-related announcement from the Nindie World Showcase was Netflix and Night School announcing that Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is coming to iOS and Android through Netflix alongside the PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC versions on July 12. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals follows Oxenfree: Netflix Edition (Free) that is currently available worldwide on iOS and Android through Netflix. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is set five years after the events of the first game. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals will feature new characters and an original story. There will be even higher stakes in this game according to Night School studio director Sean Krankel. Watch the Oxenfree II: Lost Signals trailer below:

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals follows Riley Poverly who is an environmental researcher returning to her hometown to investigate radio frequency signals causing disturbances in electrical equipment that leads to a supernatural mystery. At launch, the game will include a localized interface and subtitle support for Arabic, Chinese (Simplified) , Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Spanish (Spain), Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. It will be priced at $19.99 on consoles and PC platforms, but will be free for anyone with an active Netflix Subscription on mobile. If you’d like to check it out the first game, you can play Oxenfree: Netflix Edition here on the App Store for iOS and here on Google Play for Android. I’m curious to try this on Steam Deck and iOS when it releases on July 12th. What do you think of it and did you play Oxenfree?
