Successful Steam Early Access games have been making the jump to mobile for a while now, and Red Nexus Games’ pachinko roguelike Peglin (Free) hits iOS and Android on April 25th as a free to start game. The developers describe the gameplay as Slay the Spire meets Peggle. The iOS and Android version will be free to start with access to the forest as a demo. The full version will be a single in app purchase unlock for about $9 or regional equivalent. Full version in this situation implies what is available on Steam, currently still in early access. Peglin looks dangerous for my free time, and I’ll give up on some of that to try it when it arrives in less than two weeks. Watch the Peglin Early Access trailer below:
Red Nexus Games also confirmed that cross save will not be possible for Peglin. If you’d like to try it at launch, you can pre-order Peglin on the App Store for iOS here and pre-register for it on Google Play for Android here. Check it out on Steam here for impressions around the PC version and to try the free demo. Check out our forum thread for more discussion leading into the iOS and Android release. Have you played Peglin before or will you be trying out the mobile version on April 25th?
